My first memory of drawing was at the age the about three years old. I drew incessantly most of my life, mostly from my imagination or from life. When I was older I began to paint with oils my mother used to paint one painting and that was it. She gave them to me. I still work mostly from my imagination. The images I draw with ink are from icons if things I drawn over a lifetime. I love painting portraits and abstracts most of the time. The abstracts I paint intuitively. Things that are going on in my life tend to show up in my work from my subconscious. When I’m home bound because of illness, I draw and do watercolors.
